Summer break is over and I’m heading back to work. Every year I do a little back to school shopping for some new work clothes and it brings me back to when I was a little girl and that feeling of excitement for the new school year. That little girl in me still gets excited to show off my new wardrobe.

This shirtdress is the perfect one for me because I have been obsessing over stripes lately. It’s an ideal length for work or an evening out and the fit is amazing. The wrap tie waist is a bonus because it accentuates my waist and keeps the dress from looking boxy.
As much as I have enjoyed my summer break, I am looking forward to starting the new school year and helping these kids make the most of themselves.
