Dr. Brown’s Natural Baby Skincare

Hello everyone!

I was recently introduced to Dr. Brown’s natural baby creams and was really surprised how different these creams actually are from most. We always hear about a cream claiming to cure this or that so I didn’t have high expectations for these “natural creams”. I can honestly say this line exceeded all of my expectations! It’s non-greasy, hypo-allergenic, natural, and really helps with skin irritants which both of my girls deal with often.

This post is in partnership with Dr. Brown’s a brand I love!

First I tried the Dr. Brown’s Natural Baby Vitamin Cream. It was really hydrating for Regan’s dry sensitive skin. Her skin soaked it up quickly and didn’t leave that greasy feeling once I rubbed it into her skin. I think that’s because its free from petroleum jelly. It’s also a multi-purpose cream so you can use it for other skin conditions as well. For me though it really helped with the dryness.

I also tried Dr. Brown’s Natural Baby Lightweight Lotion. It’s made with natural ingredients, and water based, again no greasy feeling! It does have a slight almond scent to it which I like and has caused no reaction to the girls’ skin. I really wanted to see how the cream and lotion complimented each other with one helping with skin irritants and the other mainly for hydration. I applied the vitamin cream first, and then applied the lightweight lotion all over the girls’ bodies. I really liked the combination of both products together. We have really seen a change in the girls skin since using Dr. Brown’s Natural Baby Vitamin Cream and Dr. Brown’s Natural Lightweight Lotion together. If we don’t use it, Regan goes back to scratching her dry sensitive skin so we’ve made it part of our daily ritual after bath time.

As we continue to introduce the girls to new solid foods and different juices, they inevitably go to the bath room more often. With more bathroom breaks come the potential for more rashes. Dr. Brown’s also has a diaper cream which is more important than ever right now until they get accustom to the changes. Dr. Brown’s Natural Baby Diaper Cream is working really well with the irritation and prevention. It’s also plant based with an anti-inflammatory witch hazel which has been used for decades as a natural treatment for skin conditions. I’ve noticed that if I apply a thin layer of the cream to their diaper area, it protects the girls’ skin from getting a diaper rash.

Overall, I am really impressed with Dr. Brown’s Natural Baby Creams. Because of the natural, non-greasiness of Dr. Brown’s creams my girls have soft and non-irritating skin.  Thank you Dr. Brown’s!  You definitely have made my baby girls happy!
